Over at Gingersnaps Creations there is a new overriding theme for the start of the new month "Ancient Ages", take a look - there is some great pieces of work from the other DT members.
My contribution to the theme is based on ancient Rome/Italy using one of the favourite stamps, Italian Montage from Chapel ArtStamps. The words; ancient, treasure and artifact are cut from the new word stamp from Stampotique designed by Amy Wilson, so useful - I got mine from the The Cubby Hole - Carol stocks a fantastic range of the Stampotique stamps!
My background has been made using two acrylic paints together with a crackle medium but I am afraid this does not show up in the photograph.
I do hope you get chance to join us at Gingersnaps this month, there will be a new challenge next week but you do have a month to complete each challenge, which I think is fab. Hope to see you there ...I will trying to visit all blogs this month to see your entries. I hope you like my take on the theme.
