... is the new challenge over at the It's All about the Vintage & Beauty challenge blog where I am lucky enoough to be on their DT. You have a fortnight to play along with the challenge and I would love to see your "glittering" old fashioned, vintage or retro pieces.
We are also fortunate enough to have two sponsors for the prizes this month.
I have two vintage/old fashioned styled pieces to share with you:-
The first is a tag, which I have coloured with distress inks and overstamped with a Christmas script. I have added music paper, lace, netting before added my Angel and snowflake. My glitter is Stampendous frantage crushed glitter.
I would like to enter this tag into the following challenges:-
Everybody Art Challenge - "Angels"
Try it on a Tuesday - "Christmas Sparkle"
My second piece is an A5 card and I have used traditional Christmas colours, red and green. The papers, image and the die cut lantern are from Marianne Design. The lantern has been cut in kraft card and a combination of white and pinkish glitter added. Faux stitching has been added around my panels. I used a fabric marking wheel and white pen ....
Glitter was also added to my robin, card edges and to my sentiment.
The holly leaves and mistletoe leaves have been stamped, coloured with pencils and cut out. They are from a Papermania set of stamps.
I hope you are able to see the faux stitching around the edges- I did numerous times to match the distressed edges. I would like to play along with the following challenges with this Christmas card.....
