Gingersnaps #132 - Colour Challenge

I hope everyone has enjoyed the festive season and wish  you all well for the New Year!

Its the last challenge of 2011 and the last challenge of "Holiday Lights" over at Gingersnap Creations.  There has been some fabulous artwork by my fellow DT members and the entrants alike....

Its time for the colour challenge and this time we are to work with:-

Soft Whites and Yellows
My card is a simple card for me with the sentiment as the focal point.  It is 8x8" in size and is primarily made up of machine stitching around the edge and four embossed squares which have been inked with distress inks.  I was fortunate to have been supplied with some gorgeous antique silver micro beads from Penny Wise Arts which I added to the frame of the sentiment and the middle of the pointsetta....
The bauble and pointsettas are both Creatables from Marianne Design.  The pointsetta in particular is one of those dies that can be used all year long!

Enjoy the rest of the Christmas holidays and hope all my blogland friends are looking forward to 2012!  Take care, Suzanne ~x~

I love the unusual colour scheme (for Christmas anyway) and that quote is just right too. Thanks for sharing photos of the detail as well.
