This Monday Cath challenged the Make My Monday design team to create a piece of craft that was:-
MONOCHROME
Aka shades of one colour - I decided to opt for shades of copper (or brown) - as a member of the DT I hope I have played along correctly lol:) Of course the STEAMPUNK month long theme continues.....
I decided to make a male themed birthday (as I always always struggle with these - preferring to buy them :( and again used my Cuttlebug Cogs embossing folder which I then coloured with distress inks; Rusty Hinge and Wild Honey.
The image (PaperArtsy) has been stamped in distress ink Walnut Stain onto card which has been coloured with distress ink, Tea Dye. The half clocks have been cut from leftover Graphic 45 paper.
So the challenge is to just use various shades/tones of one colour ....I look forward to seeing what you come up with but in the meantime check out the Make My Monday blog for last week's top 3 and my teamies take on the challenge for inspiration. Suzanne ~x~
I am still off on my hols (missing Baby Brookfield) so cannot promise to visit your blogs which is a shame as I am dependent upon my dongle in a valley lol:) Suzanne ~x~

Fantastic creation Suz. Love the cogs frame and the stamping. The wire detail is a great finishing touch too.
Hope you're enjoying your hols despite the weather - the gale force winds reached Sussex in the night and today is horrible!

Hi Suz
I hope you are well and enjoying your holiday.
My new work is taking up all of my time at the moment and I love it, but I am missing my crafting and blogging buddies.
I love this card and the great monotone effect you have created.
