Well I am away in the caravan - trying not to think of my son on his first "lads" holiday in Zante. The idea was to come away to prevent me from worrying all week - it is not working.....
Make my Monday is completing its first month of challenges and its the last week we would like to see flowers on your creations. The extra challenge this week is to follow the sketch (it has to have some floral somewhere though) that Jacqueline has so kindly provided.
My piece is a canvas - which has been gessoed and painted. The four background rectangles are pale pink tissue paper which have been stamped in Timber Brown Stazon with Personal Impression and Crafty Individual stamps.
The focal image has been stamped onto canvas paper and then adhered to mountboard for depth and then painted with something similar to H2o's (a cheap paint set from the Works). The image is a Paperartsy stamp and the words in the corner have been cut from an old dictionary.
I hope you have enjoyed our month of flower challenges and would warn you now that we have another great theme for next month - again it is something that most people like and has been set by Fliss, my fellow DT member.

A fabulous piece Suzanne, I love it, the colours and stamps are perfect.
I know what you mean about the worrying, I used to be like that when mine were younger and still do at times even though they are all grown up and have their own homes.
I hope you can relax and enjoy the week. Have a good break.
luv and hugs {brenda} xoxox
I love your take on this weeks theme. Try not to worry to much and enjoy your time away.

An absolutely stunning and beautiful creation Suzanne. Really love the stamping and the lovely central flower.
Hope you're having a good time despite worries (I know what this is like as I always worry a bit when my younger daughter heads off with her friends and have to pester her to text every so often).
Hugs, Fliss xx
