Recycling over at Stampotique...

I do like to play along with the Stampotique Designer Challenge Blog - this current fortnight (a week in) we have to recycle, reuse or repurpose (what a fab word!).  Well I have made a square card and the base card is the only thing that has not been recycled - I did howeve run it through the Cuttlebug and sanded it down.

I have used packaging from Amazon (I think) - I have used the corrugated side (lightly gessoed) as a mount.  The Stampotique bee and shrooms were stamped onto the smooth side of the packaging and then cut out.  My acetate is from a perfume box, the sleeve - and is perfect as it is coloured with gold dots.  I stamped the bee and shrooms again and then stuck onto the cardboard images.

My buttons are from an old blouse which I am ashamed to say no longer fits me (:    The birthday greeting has been stamped on a clothes tag which I have re-sized, sanded and then covered with more of the perfume box acetate.
Take a look at the Stampotique Challenge, the work is great both from the DT and the entrants..........

Nice work, it doesn't look in the least bit 'recycled'.
