From one extreme to another!

Well from my grungy, messy and attempts at being artistic to a pretty (hopefully) easel card.  I love the heavily embellished cards that we see lots of nowadays but it is not normally my genre but every now and again I have an urge to make a card or a piece that my mum would appreciate (though light on the embellishments).  The card has been done in pale silver/grey and the cupcake, cake stand and butterfly have all been embossed.  The colours and the embossing in "real life" are lovely and subtle even if I do say so myself.
On this note I wonder if anyone can help me.  The photos whilst on my camera and uploaded into my windows gallery on the laptop show the true colours - HOWEVER when I come to insert into blogger they go all dark.  Any suggestions (not too technical lol) would be appreciated!
Another thing - do I confuse my followers with my chopping and changing of styles - in my defence I like all sorts of things and as I am a Gemini have a low boredom threshold heheh......

I am entering this card into the following challenges:-

Thank you for bearing with me during my ramblings!

Gorgeous card Suzanne and I'm with you on the embellishment side as I also never put as many as you see on other crafters' cards.
Love the subtle colours here.

Hi Suz, love the whole effect you have achieved with your card and that stamp is fabulous.
Sorry haven't encountered that blogger problem before.
As to you style - be true to yourself and show whatever direction you have gone in. I find I am exactly the same.
Thanks for joining in with our 'cake' challenge at MAWTT this week.
luv and hugs {brenda} xoxox
