"Old Text/Newspaper Print"

Here is my entry to Stampotique Designers Challenge  who would like to see old book text or newspaper used in our work.  Now I use old books quite a lot - it is a favourite of mine and I have to make a conscious decision to try and use something else but I have not used newspaper.  I took the "Fashion" section from the Times and got appropriate "Tan-Tastic" text to match Gibby's outfit!  My newspaper has been distressed with DI and bright pink acrylic paint has been "splodged" (a very techical word) around the edges.  My white flowers have been stencilled in with white charcoal pencil.........hope you enjoy my page - if only I had fashion sense like Gibby!
