WOYWW - "We use to have a Dining Room"

.....are the words my dear husband utters at least once a week.  Yes we have a biggish house but with three offspring at home I have no choice but to use the dining room (and the hall) for my crafting ....well Neil has the garage and shed for his fishing tackle.
So I am afraid I have no super duper craft room but I get by.....though for one who use to be so particular mess and untidiness does not seem to bother me quite so much.
My first week of taking part so please take a look at WOYWW  http://stamping-ground.blogspot.com/ ..... (Julia's blog) where crafters show their work desks for the world to see chaos ..hehe. There are some amazing craft areas there and I am going to show him indoors so he can finally understand that I dont really have that much stash lol :)
Piccies show my dining room table which is very tidy with completed raven pages waiting to be put into round robin journal, box of some my inks in front of the fire and a cupboard/shelves with more bits n bobs.  The hall can wait for another week ..........

Who need a dining table? Just as cozy to sit on some pillows on the floor. You can pretend you are out camping. It is MUCH more important to have a place to craft, a place to relax and reniew ourselves. I bet that there is so many more happy, content, relaxed females out there in the world now that we are crafting. Do you agree?
lol

This brings back memories, I used to take over the bedroom, then moved to the living room and then moved to the conservatory! Hence husband decided it was time to make me a dedicated craft room ..... keep at it, he'll give it eventually LOL. Love that box of inks btw. Hugs, Claire x

You're pretty tidy and organized, I guess you have to be if you don't have a dedicated space. That's how I started out until I booted my DH out of his unused study nook which is now my beautiful and precious scrap nook.
Welcome to woyww! It's addictive!

Suz what can I say other than OMG OMG OMG ALL THAT CRAFTY GOODIES!!! You must constantly shop for it...wow...Not about to show mine in any hurry in comparison I have nothing to show! HEHE...

Good luck with the craft room...I use the living room, my dad has given up suggesting he might want a chair to sit on when he visits and just chucks me out of mine and plays with my crafty tools!

HEy its now where you craft but that you craft! Good use of your space!

Tee Hee I will be crafting in the dining room too when I move in about a month, though I will have my own table there. I'm in a corner of the living room now! Thanks for sharing, I can't wait to see the hall!
P.S. Please come check out my new challenge blog! The first challenge starts Sunday, May 23rd. I hope to see you there! xo Kelli

If you had a dining room you'd only end up doing more cooking! Much better used for crafting ;)
