Gingersnaps Creations Challenge #51 - Botanical

My first official contribution as Guest Design Team Member to Gingersnaps Creations http://gingersnapcreations.blogspot.com/ – I hope I have done it justice. My fellow DT members are such a talented bunch. I would say that all the pressure is my own. Shar and Ali the founders of Gingersnaps are so relaxed and informal, and have been very welcoming. Well back to the piece.......I have used 8x8 card which I distressed round the ages, stamped with Tapestry Stamps etc. The focal image is a large stamp I picked up from a garage sale that Sue Roddis of Jabberwocky http://sroddis.blogspot.com/ fame held prior to her forthcoming adventure overseas and for £1 I think I got a bargain. The butterfly was made using grungeboard, inked and embossed. The Woodware chipboard border was also coloured with inks and then stamped. My next challenge for GSC is in the bag - well almost I need to add a few finishing touches once I have thought of them lol. Also on the go is my contribution to the Art Exchange – which is an actual swap on the Yahoo Group that Gingersnaps also run. The brief is to produce 4 flower shaped creations (template provided). My friends will know I don’t like to have unfinished projects lurking – I just like to crack on and if you read my previous blog post you will be able to see that this is becoming a habit; 3 unfinished projects!!!!!! Oh no! It’s no wonder I am out of sorts – where are those Kalms?
