So Sentiment...

Hello ...the theme over at the Craft Room from today is:-  "So Sentimental".  This has been chosen by the lovely Mervi and she describes over on the blog the exact requirements.  It is important the challenge brief is followed and there is prize from one of our fabulous sponsors;- Tando Creative.

My contribution to the DT this time round is an 8x8 scalloped edge card.   The background has been made using a mixture of distress inks (mainly Scattered Straw) and stamps.

The "focal sentiment" is a stamp from a PaperArtsy plate of stamp which I embossed in Stampendous Aged Gold Embossing powder.

The same embossing powder was used when I stamped the "Blitz of Poppies" from Indigo Blu.  The poppies were filled in with glossy accents and tiny tiny beads added to the centres.

The bee (Stampotique) and bird (PaperArtsy) have both been stamped on card, coloured and then stamped again on acetate.

Hope you can play along with us at the Craft Room ....we love visiting your blogs.  Suzanne ~x~
