Esther and Zoe have had a swap round on the hosting challenge rota ...so a little earlier than expected Zoe is with us for this fortnight over at the Craft Room and in usual Zoe style she has given us a challenge with a twist:-
"Anything Goes ........so long as it features WOOD"
This challenge is especially for our new sponsor who we are very pleased to have aboard....."MDF Man"
My wooden element is the frame which I painted, painted & painted again before applying crackle.
Flowers have been cut using Tim Holtz Tattered Floral dies, these were then stamped with Elusice Image and coloured with distress inks before being spritzed with water and scrunched.
Stamps used include; Stampotique Bee & Shrooms, Stampendous Magnolia, Crafty Individuals birds and various stamped sentiments.
Grungeboard nature shapes were coloured with distress inks also.
I would love to start playing along with challenges again so will enter the following:-
Vintage Stamping by Flonz - Anything in your Garden
That Craft Place - Things with Wings
Anything Goes Challenge - In the Garden
Try it on Tuesdays - Make your own Flowers

Hi Suzanne,
fabulous set of frames, beautiful crackled texture, and love the flowers;-))m
This is lovely! Would have loved to enter this challenge as I have a little wooden birdie hut crying out to be altered... but off for 2 weeks tomorrow on holiday! So will just have to gather dust a bit longer..... The grungeboard shapes are perfect Suzanne - great job.
I'm assuming this is all one frame made up of smaller ones - great idea and you've decorated it/them beautifully. Great choice of stamps.
Such a lovely frame and and very pretty colour, all the images in the frames and gorgeous embellishments are exactly right for this. Thank you for making it as your inspiration sample for my use wood challenge XOXO Zoe
