Haberdashery with It's all about the Vintage..

This fortnight it is my theme over at...... and I picked "haberdashery".  I hope people enjoy the theme and will take part.  Remember your entry is to have a vintage, retro or old fashioned element/style. We are sponsored by Crafty Sentiments.

I have had a binding machine since April but can I work out how to use it?...NO!  Poor husband has to do...and he says I am to make a batch so he too can get use to it...so beware lots of notebooks and journals will be appearing.

This one is 8x8 in size...and it won the approval of very particular daughter too...wonders will never cease!

I have used machine stitching, fabric, buttons, pin, lace and ribbon and stamped images from Creative Expressions.

The die cut body form is inked with Shabby Shutters, Faded Jeans and Aged Photo. The top half has been embossed, the skirt stamped and the stand crackle gel added.
I even covered a pencil and grunged to match.

I would love to enter the following challenges with my handmade notebook.

Thanks for stopping by....we have a month off from meetings so hopefullybi can find time to do a little more blogging and hopping.  Suzanne xx

This is a lovely cover for this journal and great that you persuaded your OH to use the gizmo to make it. Look forward to seeing some more ideas.

Haberdashery is known to be the easiest way to apply different tools and to insert different creative art, I'm not that good enough with it, indeed having seen your project makes me more down, well done.
