House of Cards - Debut, Shabby & Vintage

Hi, I was invited to join a new Challenge Blog - House of Cards.  The ethos behind this challenge is to encourage cardmakers to try different styles - challenge owners Mynnette and Ruth explain it a lot better than I can so just pop along.  I am sure it is going to be a huge success.  I am on the "shabby & vintage" team of the DT.

All the teams have the same challenge - and it is interesting to say the least how we interpret the challenge.  For the debut month all the teams have been working with a colour palette - see below!

I hope you like my take on the colours - the stamped images are from Kaisercraft and Indigo Blu.  My tattered flower has been stamped with an Elusive Image stamp before being inked with Tumble Glass distress inks and spritzed with ink.

I am entering my card into the following challenges:-

Alphabet Challenge - L is for Lace

Addicted to Stamps - Lots of Layers

That Craft Place - It's a Girl Thing
Looking forward to seeing your shabby and vintage creations using at least three of the colours pictured......Suz xx

Just the right amount of each colour that you have chosen. Love how you stamped the CS before you cut out your flower - great idea.

Hello Suzanne
The first element that grabs my eye is your beautiful flower, then I see the lovely lady and lace, all relate to a Vintage feel that is just so soft and warm with a romantic feel, all the necessary elements for a perfect Vintage card. It is gorgeous.
Smiles:)
