Trying to get into the Mood

I have really struggled lately...my craft has been a chore not a pleasure!  Life is far far too busy...in between decorating, babysitting granddaughter, a large family tea (there are 7 of us and then there are the partners) I managed to make a card yesterday (wonders will never cease) especially for two of the challenges I like to try and join in with each month.

And

The card is 8x8 in size. I used a Flonz retro ladies stamp and the Stampendous I love Paris stamp.  The background was coloured using tumbled Glass distress ink and stencilled with flowers and french script was stamped in Faded Jeans distress ink.

The side panel and mount was embossed with a Fleur de Lys folder before Shabby Blue embossing powder added randomly .  This along with blue glitter frantage was added to the Paris image.

Lace was threaded through the side panel, bow tied.  Lace also added to the focal image before a string of pearls was added to make a frame.

Only one meeting this week so I am hoping to be a little productive this week. Thanks for popping by...I do appreciate it as I have been a little lax in visiting blogs of late but I do realise time is of the essence haha ....Suzanne xx

If thats what you create not being in the mood you clearly have an innate talent because that is phenomenal
