Time for a new challenge over at It's All About the Vintage. The theme is "Travel". My piece for the Design Team is a decorated paper mache suitcase. I hope you like it!
The case was covered in Marianne Design Tissue Tape and painted with a "tan" acrylic paint. I made two panels for the inside sections which I coloured with Aged Photo distress inks. I stamped various text and image stamps - masking the focal images; i.e. the glamorous lady, the Eiffel Tower etc. Stamps used were:- Indigo Blu, Stampers Anonymous, Marianne Design and the freebie stamps from a Magazine ("driving gloves").
The car and the key are Marianne Design die cuts. These were cut in silver metal sheet and aged with a mixture of black and brown Stazon inks.

The fortnightly challenge over at It's All About the Vintage is a beautiful challenge blog and is this time round sponsored by:- Crafty Sentiments - they have a lovely prize for the winner!
I would love to enter my "travel suitcase" into the following challenges please:-
For those interested I did become an elected Town Councillor last week.....first time I had been to a "count" - a very nerve racking experience. Suzanne x
