In the Garden - Anything but a Card

WOW...I genuinely cannot believe it is my turn again to be the hostess over at the Craft Room.  We loved seeing your "me to you" tokens/gifts last fortnight.  Going to be a hard task selecting that top 3 - best of luck Zoe!

Anyway back to this current fortnight....we have a great new sponsor; Crafty-Emblies and in honour of the sponsor as they provide such great alterables for us Crafters and in view of the onset of Spring my theme is:-

"In the Garden - Anything but a Card"

My DT piece for the Craft Room is a decorated wooden birdhouse.  Now I have had this bird house absolutely ages and it's one of those items my husband kept nagging me about ..... "you haven't done anything with this yet!"  Blah blah!

Stamps Used are:-  Heartfelt Creations, tattered blooms; Stampotique picket fence and individual words; Paperartsy text stamp; Woodware bird stamps; Various other alphabet and text stamps.

Graphic 45 papers and tiny Beatrix Potter figures cut from it.

I have painted the wood on the exposed pieces with numerous coats of acrylic paint before overstamping with a crackle stamp from Indigo Blu.

I would like to enter the following challenges with my Bird House:-

Stamping Sensations - "The Great Outdoors"

Anything But a Card - Spring or Alice in Wonderland
My entry is for the spring element

Sparkles Forum Challenge - Birds

Don't forget over at the Craft Room we are looking for guest designers....we would love to hear from you. We have the lovely Helene of Lotsascrap Joining us for this and the next challenge.
Thanks for popping by - I appreciate all my followers and cannot believe that I have at long last hit the 200 mark - I am very honoured and there are a couple of fellow bloggers who are awaiting a reply from me.  I promise to get round to you shortly.  Hugs, Suzanne x

This is a great challenge Suzanne, thank you, and no matter that we have 2 'no card' challenges in a row!

Sometimes our alterables have to remain in the to do pile longer than others but in time we are inspired to use them. You certainly have with this utterly delightful bird house.

BTW you do know that once elected you find yourself wanting to get re-elected time and again. Fair warning XOXO Zoe
