1st Craft Room Challenge of 2013

Hi, well we are back after our Christmas break. Happy new year to everyone. Sorry I didnt get round to visiting many blogs. My husband has been a little poorly but is now on the mend.  My first post of 2013 is a DT piece for The Craft Room and we have a great theme chosen by Nikki.

VALENTINE

My card is made using an 8x8 card base with Prima paper, isnt it beautiful (though I did add the flower stamps in the corners)?  I took a chipboard lattice heart which I painted with cream acrylic paint and then overstamped with sepia ink.

The flowers are Heartfelt Creations stamps and were a gift from one of my sons. They are lovely images and I coloured them using my new Inktense pencils which my daughter got me for Christmas. I think I am going to love these pencils......I added tiny tiny beads to the flower centres and layered for depth.

My romantic couple are Lord n Lady die cuts from Marianne Designs ( LR0211). I added micro beads for the Lady's necklace also.

I hope you are able to join in with our 1st challenge.  I would mention that we are sponsored this fortnight by Crafty Individuals. I would like to enter the following challenges:-

Try it on Tuesdays - "new stash" - mine being my Heartfelt floral stamps and Inktense pencils

Take care, Suzanne ~x
