MMM - "stitching"

Firstly I would like to start off my thanking Rita of RMG Creations who very kindly offered help with my dilema of easel cards and the correct standing up - thank you Rita!  The crafting world is indeed a very friendly and generous place to be part of.

Week 2 of my GDT slot for the fab Make My Monday challenge blog ...it was good to visit some of your blogs last week.  We are continuing the theme of:-

A U T U M N    S U P P L I E S
and this week the brief is:-
 STITCHING, Faux or Real

Unusual for me -  I have gone down the faux stitching route (as I do like using my DD's machine to add real stitching) as I was too lazy to crawl under my desk to get the sewing machine ...oh dear and as she is away at Uni she would not be there to help when (not if) I got myself in a pickle!
Again my card is 8x8 in size and I have used some very old supplies including:- K&Co paper, a very old leaf stamp and the focal image is also an old one from PaperArtsy.  The only newish thing is the oval die which is from Marianne Design...it's a great shape and I inked the edges to give a bit more detail.
Little upset about the quality of my photographs also.  When they are in my photo file on the gallery the colours are much more true but yet when I upload them to blogger they lose their vibrancy and detail.  I would love to enter the following challenges:-

Lady Anne's Sentimental Friday - "Anything Goes"
My sentiment is stamped in the left bottom corner and reads "When I count my blessings I always count you twice"

Stampin' for the Weekend - "Stitching"

Have a good week everyone ....I am really not in the mood this week for work. Suzanne ~x~

This is great and I think I will be too idle to get my machine out for stitching on the card too - always mean to give it a try but usually end up with the faux stitching

This is beautiful Suz. Love the soft colours and pretty image. I recently got my hands on the oval dies and the Anja square set and they're both totally to die for lol.

Suzanne, such pretty, soft colors in your card creation - so lovely! I'm coveting your new Marrianne die - where do you buy them in the US? Delicate and elegant - lovely card share.
