My final week as GDT for Make My Monday. I'd like to thank all the girls there for inviting me ...I have thoroughly enjoyed myself. Final week of:-
A U T U M N S U P P L I E S
"Buttons and Ribbon"
Back to the usual 8x8 size. The background was stamped in Versamark randomly with leaf stamps before I embossed with white embossing powder. The base was then inked with a variety of distress inks.
My border was made using the Woodware crafty edger which was a very kind unexpected gift from my husband...I embossed this border through the Cuttlebug and then inked with distress inks. Brown chiffon ribbon was threaded and then knotted.
The focal image is a Woodware stamp and I think it's quite cute and would lend itself to all round year stamping .....buttons and ribbon were added at the base of the oval ...in hindsight I should have used a paler colour button here.
The sentiment is from the same Woodware plate of stamps and some leaves were added to the top corner ...these are from the Cubby Hole and they are just lovely they have a lovely suede feel to them....
