Vintage Travel for MMM

Over at the fab Make My Monday challenge blog it is Val's last week of vintage challenges and I really wanted to play along - the DT examples have been amazing all month long.  So here is my take on the theme:-

My card is an 8x8 cream scallop edge card.  My background is all inked, stencilled and stamped by my own fair hands using "weathered wood" distress inks.  My images are all courtesy of Crafty Individuals including the vintage car (excepting the tickets - which are from the really useful Marianne Design labels-tickets-cs0856 stamps.

My images are have been stamped with "weathered wood" on card which has been coloured with "scattered straw" distress inks to give a sepia/dulled sort of effect.

My chipboard letter were a glossy black but I took a nail file to them and then coloured with "weathered wood" distress inks to give them a distressed look.  The words "in Style" are rub ons.  I have added glossy accents to parts of the stamped images.  Weekend is nearly upon us and it's hopefully going to be a crafty one lol:)  Suzanne ~x~
