Craft Room - Collage

Well it is as usual chaotic in my house ...I am gearing myself up to losing my baby as she goes off to Uni on Sunday....she is such a tonic always so bubbly and cheerful!  So to stop myself from wallowing it's a good job today sees a new challenge at the Craft Room.

It's ESTHER's turn to set the challenge ...thanks ESTHER for a great challenge:-

"Collage"
I believe this word comes from the french language "coller" to glue - different images and pictures

We are also sponsored by another great crafting company:-  INDIGO BLU who are giving an exciting prize in honour of this challenge - I have used the Indigo Blue "Take the Time" A5 stamp plate.

Along with the Indigo Blu stamps I have used pages from an old book, cut outs from some gorgeous Mariposa paper and white gel pen when creating the nature "collage".
The actual journal covers are made from an old Next Directory.  The frame of the journal is made from silver mirri card which has been embossed through the bug and coloured using various Stazon inks and alcohol inks.  The mirri card was then adhered to grey board to create the frame.
My pages are from a notebook and I have kept the torn spiral tops and then distressed with Walnut Stain distress inks.  Please pop over to the Craft Room to see the gorgeous inspiration my fellow DT friends have created.
I would like to enter this journal into the following challenges:-

My silver mirri card has been distressed to make the frame as has the covers.

Hope you have the time to leave me  a comment so I know you've popped by. Suzanne ~x~

Love that I seem to have inspired you here Suzanne!! Great idea to use the mirri card and it looks really good - far less hassle than battling with the tape. I love your book, the colours and the centre panel with the butterflies is gorgeous.
Thanks so much for sharing your lovely work at ABAC's first challenge.
