Craft Room - "Fashion" (7August)

The Craft Room's  new challenge starts today and it's a gorgeous one ....."FASHION" chosen for us by my fellow DT teamie, HAZEL.  I will let Hazel explain over on the challenge blog why she selected this theme but I think it was helped by a brand new sponsor to the Craft Room:-

Leo of Flonz Stamps very kindly provided all of the DT with stamps - I hope you like what we have done with them.  The ladies on my card are from a Flonz stamp.

My card is 8x8 in size and I took the opportunity of using a new "Happy Days Haberdashery" embossing folder and "fabric" paper I purchased from the Cubby Hole.

As mentioned the ladies are from Flonz Stamps and these stamped perfectly clear and were lovely to colour in with distress inks and Marvy markers.  I also used stamps from the Creative Expressions sewing plate (i.e. the faux buttons and the material effect on the pink card).

The embossing folder has been used twice in different colours and I have used a white gel pen to accent.  The same white gel pen was used to add faux stitching.

Pink lace has been ruffled  and the sentiment is from Rogue Redhead's "Milliner's Misses"..........

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:-

I am away on holiday at the moment but I do hope to visit your blogs and leave comments but this is not always easy from our caravan.  Suzanne ~x~
