Sport at the Craft Room...

It's time for a new challenge at the Craft Room.  First thank you to everyone who participated in my "friendship" challenge - I am having a bit of a job selecting a top 3 as all were fabulous!  This fortnight sees the talented Mervi of the Craft Room's DT and as she is a sports fanatic that is what she has challenged the rest of the DT and you guys with.....not everyone's cup of tea but it is a big year for sporting events!  I cried when Andy Murray gave his speech on Sunday ..sob!

We also have another great sponsor too ..... so there will be a fab prize on offer to the lucky winner provided by Tanda Stamps

My DT card is 8x8" in size and is made using Marianne Design papers (do you like the woolly jumper effect paper - thought this would be perfect to interpret a crickter's v-neck jumper).  The papers have all beem machine stitched and the base paper has been overstamped.

The cricketer and sentiment are Papermania vintage stamps and these have been stamped using Sepia Versafine onto textured paper.
Other images and words are courtesy of Google and my computer.  My son has a number of the Wisden books as he has a thing for stats and figures.....
Would love to see you playing along with us over at the Craft Room.  I am entering my card into the following challenges:-

Brilliant sporty card for a male and that 'knitted' background paper is just like a cricket jumper - clever thinking.
