Make My Monday challenge blog sees a new month of challenges and all of June we are in the capable hands of our blog leader, Jacqueline! Jacqueline has themed the month around:-
Blue lace and delicate netting has been added. Blue pearls and a string of clear pearls have been added randomly. Embroidery thread has been wound round my stamped cotton reels and the Marianne Design--die-classic-scissors-LR0194 are perfect for the theme.
I am away at the moment so please forgive me if I dont get round to visiting all your blogs as Wifi can be a little hit and miss in the caravan - I do hope that you can play along with us at MMM this month as there are some great challenges coming up!

and as the birthstone for June is pearls she would like to see a birthday card using some pearls. Now this is my sort of challenge so after last week's CAS I have gone back to my usual layered clutter....
My card is 8x8 in size and I have used a Crafty Individual stamp as the focal image along with stamps from Creative Expressions' haberdashery plate. Everything has been stamped in Memento "starlight black" which is quite silvery grey and not a stark black. I wanted to tone down to compliment the pearlescent pale blue (embossed through Cuttlebug) and background paper I used.

This is fabulous Suzanne! I love the sewing theme with all the little details including those all-important pearls! It reminds me of a story I used to read to my daughter about some fairies who were sewing hundreds of pearls onto the fairy queen's ball gown and telling stories at the same time... thank you for the memories!
