Shabby Card

I am still trying to find my mojo for my craft obligations.  So whilst I am trying to execute the ideas I have I have made a couple of cards for a couple of new challenges that I have found.  Here's one:-

Our Creative Corner where I was lucky enough to be chosen as the winner for their butterflies challenge with my dream card a couple of weeks ago.  I was delighted as there was lots of wonderful entries.  This week is a colour challenge and it just appealed to me:-

"Yellow, Kraft and White/Ivory"

My background is Mustard Seed distress ink which has been further inked through sequin waste with the same colour and then randomly stamped with white acrylic paint.

The kraft panel has been embossed through the Cuttlebug, which I roughly swooshed with Versamark before heat embossing with white ep.  My Stampotique images:- the small shrooms, bee and honeycomb have all been stamped either onto kraft and white coloured card in Sepia versafine.  All have been further colooured with Mustard Seed distress ink.
Doily and sentiment added.
The sentiment, bee's wings and shrooms were highlighted with white sakura pen!

As well as Our Creative Corner I would also like to enter the following challenges:-

Now...should I go and paint the garage wall or not?  Mmmm....Suzanne ~x~

Would never guess you're struggled with your mojo Suz as this is absolutely stunning. Just love the contrast between the yellows and kraft card which gives beautiful results.
Hope you're having a good weekend too.
Hugs, Fliss
PS: Wait till you see my DT card as I had a spooky moment when I saw this - tee hee!

What an interesting colour scheme and the bees and honeycomb are so right for it. I love what you've done. Forget painting walls - stick to stamping!! Enjoy the rest of the weekend

Hello Suzanne
'Shrooms' love that word, to describe your mushrooms, I will take this on board for future reference!
'Sequin waste' is another wonderful narrative. The Kraft and Lemony Yellow creates such a soft and wholesome feel to your card, your hexagon border draws your eye from the centre, and then you connect to the bee, and to finish you notice the Yellow roses.
Well once again you have made a delightful card.
Thank you so very much for joining us at OCC this week, we are always pleased to see your work.
Smiles:)
