Vintage Men and Boys

This second Monday in April sees the following challenge over at Make My Monday

Men and/or Boys Only

"VINTAGE"

Again my base is 8x8 in size and is kraft coloured as I think this adds to the aged feel.  All the background layers have been inked using a selection of distress inks including Walnut Stain, Aged Tea and others.  The stamps used are a mixture from Creative Expressions and PaperArtsy.
The cogs have been embossed using my Bug and then coloured with metallic using my fingers before eyelets being added.  My rocket scientist has been stamped and then one end curled to make it feel like a document.

My "signs" are from the Creative Expressions "vintage" plate - these have been stamped onto grey board which have been triple embossed, left to cool and then cracked to give a vintage look - you may be able to pick this up if you click on the photos.
My papers have been distressed using my fingers and my craft knife.

Below is the great prize from this month's MMM sponsor:-  Marianne Designs

I am entering my card into the following challenges:-

Scrapbook Sisters - "Dad/Men Birthdays"

Let's Ink It Up - "Distressing"

Bling it on Challenges - "Monochrome"

Joanna Sheen - "It's a Man's World"

Happy Easter to everyone - hope not too much chocolate is being consumed though with this rainy weather it sounds as though it could be a plan!  I would like to say a hello to my new followers too - I am always thrilled when someone decides to follow my blog!  Suzanne ~x~

Love this Suzanne, you do Steampunk very well, something I am trying to improve on. The embossing detail brings it all to life, and everything fits together perfectly. Julia xxx
