Another Monday, surely not! Our "Spring" theme continues and as this coming Sunday in the UK is Mothering Sunday we at Make My Monday would like to see your Mother's Day Card or for those who are no longer fortunate to have their mums with them a Thank You Card.
I am a lucky girl - my mum lives around the corner from me (and my sister lives across the road) and she was a godsend when my children were growing up as I have always worked - so I count my blessings in lots of ways and am extremely thankful for everything my mum has and continues to do for me!!!!
I have used the Stampendous "I love Paris in the Springtime" stamping in Vedrsafine sepia ink. The flowers have been layered slightly and coloured with Promarkers. I have cut a frame in my dp and turn back creating a curled frame. I have done this before but included more cuts this time.
The Marianne Craftable Butterfly (CR0125) die has been cut in pink pearlescent card with pearls added.
My little rosette flowers have been punched and layered and stamped sentiment added.
A chiffon ribbon bow and a couple of charms complete my Mother's Day card (photograph to follow).
Check out the glorious creations my fellow DT members have created for Make My Monday HERE!
I am entering my card into the following challenges:-
One Stop Craft - Mother's Day Card with Ribbon
Dream Valley Challenges - "Mother's Day Card"
Craft Your Days Away - "Mother's Day"
Quirky Crafts - Recipe for a Special Lady
This is a new challenge blog - the recipe is circles (my scrunched flowers are circular in shape) and pearls/gems can be found in my flower centres and on my butterfly and flowers which are trailing from the Eifel Tower.
