Daughters' 18th....

My gorgeous daughter is celebrating her 18th birthday (where has the years gone?).  Danielle is a girl who loves her clothes loving vintage and feminine styles.  She is turning into a lovely young woman and I am so proud of her good nature and how hard she has worked.  She is off to Uni in September to study Fashion branding and marketing.....here's her card "Let the Adventure Begin" - I thought the Elusive Images sentiment to be apt on her 18th:-
The background has been inked through a Crafters Workshop stencil and then overstamped with Fancy Pants flourish.  The embossed focal image has been coloured using my finger and metallic paints.
My flowers have been die cut from gold metal which has been embossed with swiss dots folder, layered before colouring with brown and teal coloured inks.  Pearls and metal cogs added to the centre. The heart has been cut from greyboard, painted gold, embossed and then inked over with teal.  The "18" has been sanded, painted and inked.

The "daughter" and the "let the adventure begin" have been stamped using gold acrylic paint.
I am entering my card into the following challenges:-

Danielle loves this colour combination of brown, gold and teal.  I shall be back to show you my stepdaughter's card who turns 16 this week.  Suzanne ~x~
