The current challenge over at the Stamp Man Challenge Blog is "Travel". My entry for the challenge is a children's board book, which has been stripped and painted.
Various stencilling and over stamping has been added. The front panel is from greyboard which has been stencilled and stamped with an old "Bon Voyage" stamp. The Eiffel Tower and Memories stamps were also added, layered crumpled paper added. My chipboard letters have been sanded to give them a distressed feel.
The main image on this page is "Three Smiles" from Hero Arts and city images are from a Crafty Individuals stamp.
Towards the rear of the book I glued a number of pages together and cut a niche into the pages. Elements from a Chapel Road stamp were added.
Tim Holtz stencil and papers also used with small aged brass charms. Thanks for looking - I hope you like my travel altered board book......please check out the
Stamp Man for great DT inspiration....Suz ~x~
