"Make My Monday" challenges go live today. We are having a monthly theme which is then subdivided into weekly challenges. As Jacqueline, the challenge owner is a trained botanical artist our first month has to be "flowers" and one of Jacqueline's stamps will be this month's prize. This week we would like to see your "Red Flowers".
I have used a kraft card as the base and have used a Craft Individuals stamp - which I love! It is so delicately detailed and stamps so clearly. My flowers have been layered and coloured with good old water colour pencils.
I have used a very tiny text stamp for my layers and edged all layers with acrylic dabbers, gold and cranberry. I have then distressed the edges - which seems to be a favourite of mine at the moment, when I have looked back at some of my recent pieces.Over at Make My Monday we will be selecting a top three every week and there will be a prize donated for the Winner of the Month. This month's prize will be one of Jacqueline's own floral stamp designs - they really are beautiful.
Everyone loves flowers dont they - so I hope to see you playing along with us and I get to visit your blogs!
