Stampotique Sketch Challenge & Something Different for Me!

The current Stampotique Challenge is a sketch and whilst I have been doing some work on a couple of DT pieces and helping my daughter with her Textile Fashion A-level coursework (just a bit of stamping -nothing major) I have managed to have a play with the sketch....
I am really not sure - its a little too grungy with not enough separation in it for me but I did enjoy messing which is the main purpose for me!  Talking about "messing" whilst in the caravan for two weeks without any craft stash I got a itchy fingers so DH got me a paint set with water colours, acrylics and pencils and a pad isnt he lovely (I think he has realised I am a much nicer person when I am "messing".  I had to draw so I decided to take some inspiration from the "taking flight" book by Kelly Rae Roberts which I did have with me!  Please be gentle with me - I am no artist and certainly cannot draw to save me life......but here is a couple of pages I came up with!

They are a little flat for me but as I had no patterned paper, glue etc I had to make do but again I did find it very relaxing and enjoyable - which is exactly the aim lol :)

These are brillian Suzanne, is your Stampotique piece on canvas 'cos it looks textured. Definitely grungy, but not too grungy for me.
Your paintings are fab, I can't draw stick men, so to me you're an old master/mistress oo er :o) x
