Jacqueline of Deezine Art is starting up a new challenge blogspot; Make it Monday. Jacqueline has provided a sketch scheme for which she would like to see our cards should you wish to join her new Design Team. The sketch can be seen on the "Make it Monday" blog.
Now I don't usually work with sketches but I thought I would give it a go and found I enjoyed it! The papers I have used are K&Co and the stamps I have used are PaperArtsy and Papermania.
I stamped my focal image onto cream card which I had shaded with distress inks and then stamped the image onto the K&Co paper and adhered, adding glossy accents to get dimenstion. A script stamp was added to the base card.
I love working to a theme and am at my most productive and inspirational and therefore would love being part of this new Design Team. I do not believe I have a particular style and I am sure my crafting buddies would say they could recognise my work. One thing I do know is that I love lots of variety - sometimes I like to journal, alter books and canvas', cards and mini books! I am not overly fond of over embellishing - I like the stamps and inks to do the talking.
Another card I have made this afternoon is a special card for my work colleague, who is reaching a milestone next week. Now Jayne makes my days in the office go so much faster - as she is so easy to talk to and get along with. Now Jayne's favourite things are cats, flowers and the colour black - hence this easel card. Hope she likes it!
