My first flag book...

and my last for a while lol :)  I took my instructions from Willy Anderson's  article in an old issue of Craft Stamper.  Now Willie's instructions were great .... its just me and any instructions (even those with pictures) just dont get on ... so I would like to thank Christine Costello for help yesterday at the Cubby Hole's Play Day, she assisted me greatly in the final construction.

I have used an olive green bazill card and a trio of Distress Inks; Bundled Sage, Victoria Velvet and Tumbled Glass.  Together they have a very springlike feel to them and are perfect for my mum for mothers day.

I have used a selection of stamps from Artemio, Autumn Leaves, Fancy Pants, Personal Impressions and Inkadinkadoo.  Machine stitching and text from my butterfly guide and an old Friendship book!

I am entering my mum's flag book card into the following challenges:-

Over at the Stamp Man Challenge Blog Vix is asking to see our Mother's Day/Floral creations. There are some beautiful blooms to inspire us over there.

Missed the fun over at the Just For Fun Challenge Blog last week due to holidays so its good to be playing along with their "different format" theme.

Look forward to reading what you think of my piece considering the trauma it gave me hahaha!  Dont forget to check out the challenge on my yesterday's post - Let's Ink It Up, dig out those punches just for a change!
