Romantic Pink

Well the sun is shining, the sky is blue and the birds are singing....for a little while here anyway.  My 8x8 journal page has been covered with text from my "bird book" in an ad-hoc way.  The middle panel has been gessoed and then painted with a combination of cream and clay acrylic paint to get the stone/light beige colour.  My heart has been handdrawn and stamped with Debbie Moore stamp with Latte Airondnack

My Grungeboard little bird was painted with the acrylic paint and dabbed with pink versamark, text stamp added and then embossed with clear embossing powder.  The fabric flowers were also altered with the same ink pads.  Extra touches include the sentiment, buttons and heart charm.

I would like to enter this piece into a couple of challenges:-

ThEmE  ThursDay who would like to see our words

and

The Play DaTe CaFe  who would like to see our romantic pink and stone (or beige or even very dark cream).

I am going to tidy up a little and then settle to watch the Six Nations, I do like a little bit of Rugby!  Thanks for popping by :)

Okay, remember way back when, I decided you should win ALL of the PDCCs? Then I figured you were getting sick of hearing that all the time..... but it's been a while now, so.... YOU SHOULD WIN!!!, LOL! This is spectacular! You absolutely rocked the colors, the entire feeling of the inspiration photo, and the page is just simply take-my-breath-away stunning. Wonderful attention to detail, and all of my favorite things are included. :) Okay, I'll stop gushing now, LOL!!! Have a fab weekend!
