YES it is still me but I thought I would challenge myself. I have been looking at the Simply Less is Moore challenge blog for the past few weeks. It is a new challenge blog but already has a massive following. The entries have been very effective and I have loved looking.
Now as my regular followers know the "less is more" mantra is not something I usually chant but I do like to try new things.
This week's remit at Simply Less is Moore is to use three squares - did I need an excuse to get "Carol's Cube" out? I used Memories Shadow Ink, Mint and Soft Rose to stamp my squares and inner square. The daisies were stamped in Ancient Page Primrose as was the word Congratulations.
I shall be totally honest with my blogging friends. The card did not have the "swirls" from Basic Grey. Below is the card without the stamping round the edge.
As this style is not my usual I really do not know which is best but maybe I should have left well alone. Well it is a learning curve - and I do like to learn new things! Change is always a good thing - a rut is a boring place to be! Well I am waffling .....can you tell that I really am not confident about this piece of work lol, I also had to take my photographs inside - I usually take them outside but it is just too wet!. Take care everyone! Suz x

ha ha ... new you couldn't resist a swirl... how's your muscles!
You could probably guess which I prefer!
The second has much more style as far as CAS is concerned. The additional bits and bobs detract from the main focus of the card... the three squares.
I love what you have done with them, the positioning of the daisies is fab and I feel they could even stand alone without the sets of gems. Actually the ones beneath the squares are fine, but the sentiment is great without them.
It's super that you are trying a new style, just stick to your guns... your first instinct was right!
Thanks so much for joining in our challenge and we hope to see you again next time!

Oh its beautiful Suz, I love the gentle colours and the statmps are fab. Less is definitely more in this case :-)

Your card is lovely but to be honest I prefer the one without the stamping on the edges, but I still like you card, well done.
Maureen...........x
When ya gotta swirl, ya gotta swirl!!
They're both good, but I prefer the second one.
Now stop worrying, and stop waffling :p
Lovely choice of colours Suzanne, simple but very pretty.
I love the card without the stamping on the edges...very CAS. I also love how you've stamped the daisies outside the box. Very cool. If I were to change anything, I think perhaps I would have stamped the Congratualations right below the squares and added the bling either in front of or behind the sentiment. With that said...I still love the card just as it is!
Hi Suzanne
I do love that daisy stamp, it looks FAB on the squares. For my CAS eyes I love the second one! whilst the top one is subtle the other makes the middle daisies show up more. Much more dramatic effect
Thanks for joining us

"Less is More"
gorgeous cards, but I do prefer the one without the scrolls
once again, i love them both! honestly, my preference is the card with the swirls (although i would have left out the rhinestones that are in the lower right corner) - like you said, Suz, it is a learning curve! thanks for sharing the two together.
Great cards - I like them both. As soon as I saw the first card, I though how pretty, the I saw the second without the swirls - and this is fab! I like the gems too, but I'd probably not have them by the sentiment! Thanks for sharing.
It's not easy is it lol ! I keep changing my cards too, I like the second card best for a CAS card anyway, both fine otherwise :O) Viv xx
I prefer the one without the swirls but I love the colours you`ve used.
Very pretty card.

Lovely cards but i prefer the second one :)

Great to see Carol's cube on your card. I love that daisy and you have made a fab card with it. I prefer the one without the extra stamping which is odd because I always have to add more to my cards!
Seeing as i love swirls i like the first card better, but the second one is better for the CAS challenge.
Lovely pastel colours and stamps:-)
Great cards xx Jan
This is gorgeous. It is so effective stamping the squares.
Love your cards but the 2nd one is my favourite.
Anne
Beautiful cards. The off-centre flowers are very effective.

Love the daisy stamp and the colours you've used. I too prefer the second card, the flourishes in the top one detract from the main image. Still lovely though.
Great choice of colours and stamps. The second is my fave - Beautiful!
Great card love the soft colours. I'm like you with wanting to add a bit more but am resisting for the moment but not sure how long that will last
We are all learning at least I certainly am! The second card has my vote too, it's perfect. x
I prefer the second card too - I love the way you've stamped the daisies just off the squares. I like a bit of bling but I might have tried it in the flower centres!
