Unusual event!
Yes.....I have made a couple of birthday cards! I am afraid due to other arty craft things I prefer doing and my other "hobbies" I admit to usually buying cards (except for crafty friends of course) .... so it is an unusal event! That's awful isnt it - all this stash to make cards and I buy them. I just cannot seem to create cards for the sake of it and then I struggle when I do want to make one! The two cards here are for my niece Bethany, who has become a teenager today. I just cannot seem to get away from making cards that I think the recipient would like rather than what I want to make - this is the case in respect of the "cats" card - its in celebration of Beth's two new cats, Dan and Stan who are brothers and were from the RSPCA! The other is for Beth's cousins to give and is more in keeping with what I like!

I am with you when someone asks me to make a card with something specific...I find all inspiration goes out the window....when I play for the sake of playing I can think of all kinds of wonderful ideas!!!!......both your makes are just fabulous!!! Hugs Juls
