EDIT...Big Crafting Weekend.

EDIT...Shame on us all.... WHAT a TIP! And this is just the tip of the iceberg!

Friday evening, all day Staurday and today until 2pm .....now that's what I call a Craft Fest!  I have had a wonderful time at the The Cubby Hole on a workshop run by Carol and Sarah Anderson.  We have done allsorts and more pictures will follow......But in the meantime I will show a snippet of my book, which has a felt cover - I need to finish off by adding dangly bits - so will leave you in suspense as to the finished book!
Carol demonstrated what can be done with "tyvek" - I loved this.  The picture shows the bead and flower both made from tyvek.  Tyvek is the stuff that makes the suits crime scene investigators wear or even decorators - if you would like a more articulate description see That Man's blog!   Also pictured are pages from everyone's books.
And everyone (except me and little Sue as she was kneeling on the floor!) looking at them........
(L-R Sarah, Carol, That Man, Christine and Tracy in foreground)

There is so much to say about the weeknd I dont want to bombard you but will leave you with my A3 journal page YES A3!.......as you may expect I loved doing this. Carol may be displaying these in the shop.
Carol has been a wonderful hostess (with some help from the toast monitor Paul), Chinese was delicious, quiches gorgeous.  Thank you!

Thanks for looking, hope you will be back to see more of the book; both inside and outside!

Oh your A3 journal page has come out brilliantly - but I knew it would, it was definitely looking great last time I saw it :) And I think the 'mess' just shows what a fab time we had -it's just LOTS of stuff, not mess really ;)
