Words, words & more words

This is page within my journal with words that I have cut out of patterned paper placed on a painted background, which was done with Ranger Dabbers (these are great - but does anyone else find that the paint does not come out very easily or that the end falls off), outlined with charcoal pencil, smudged with my finger (nice and messy) and dots dotted with sharpie pen.  SIMPLES as those very annoying meerkats would say!  It may not be to everyone's taste but I just like the "basicness" of this page!

I love the basic look of this page. Often less is best and the word show up so well like this! Dabbers 'paints' are great quality, I find, but agree they do not easily work as they should do and yes the tops do come off! I tend to use mine with brushes or sponges. x

I love this page it's brilliant...yea can't say I'm over keen on ranger dabbers, they don't work that well and I tend to do several coats rather than force the tops off, there are 'cheaper' alternatives in art shops and I half wondered if they would be better?
