Bank Holiday....

Well things are getting a little better here. My dad is still in hospital but he is getting better and hopefully should be back home where he belongs at the end of the week. My mum did allow me some time off on Saturday as she was in the capable hands of my hubby and I snuck off to a brillant workshop at the Cubby Hole...Metal Embossing with Sarah Anderson of :-Art of Moodling I loved it and I now must have all the kit and kaboodle.

The book is the outcome of the workshop and I even worked with alcohol inks .... which I have never got along with before. The butterfly and the flowers were alchol inked and the background was created with Stazon inks...

I am entering this piece into a few challenges:-

Hels, Sunday Stamper Challenge - http://pinkleart.blogspot.com/"WINGS"

Paper Play Challenge:- http://paperplaychallenges.blogspot.com/ "UP in the AIR"

4x4 Friday:- http://4x4friday.blogspot.com/"WINGS"

Thanks for taking the time to look - I hope you enjoy. Before I sign off I would like to say thank you to all my crafty friends who I have received the most scrummy hand crafted cards from today for my birthday. They are such a talented lot ...the Cubby Hole gang and lovely Sall my cyber pal from Devon......

I love your piece! It is just gorgeous in all ways! Alcohol inks are great! Sorry to hear that the TH dies are so expensive at your neck of the woods!
