Anyone who crafts with me with will bear witness that there is nothing more I love than a swirl or a flourish (along with a few flowers) so when I saw the theme for this week's TT I thought ....YES! Oh no - complete mental blockage maybe I have been outswirled in the past few months!
Anyway Suzanne ...stop the waffling and talk about the card. I am afraid it has not scanned well....as there is a lot of white in the background .... but after my two "busy" previous entries for TT I wanted to try and aim for clean and a little minimalistic (sp?). I have randomly stamped the background in Inkadinkado Dot Flourishes stamps using Mr Holtz's DI, faded jeans and shabby shutters. I have resist embossed the Crafty Individuals CI-175 butterflies stamp and then swiped over with the same DI's and decoupaged. Added ribbon and tag - greeting masked using a peel off.
I have enjoyed my time as a guest designer and I hope TT have enjoyed having me.
Oh yes ....you may be interested to know the gesso has been removed from carpet (phew). Now him indoors is concerned about the wasted gesso. Yes yes ...I am listening Neil!

Such a lovely card, like yourself I just love swirls and curls. and have a mental block ( now the question is was the block needed ;)) Do love the colours you have used on your card. Such lovely soft colours. And I just adore the lovely butterflys which you have given so much movement too.
