Altered Board Book

Well I did promise I would be back today. Do you like me have UFP's hanging round? Well I did intend this weekend to finish some of my "un-finished projects" - I have managed to complete an altered board book. I had stripped the book, gessoed and painted a while ago and it was sitting in one of my numerous hidey places until last night! I am quite pleased with it. I decided upon a nature theme using nature inspired quotes and my favourite butterflies and flowers making use of my crafty individual stamps, images and charcoal pencil. Another achievement this weekend is that I have figured how to get better close up shots with our camera. Its something do with Macro ...but don't ask me any more than that. I will not bombard you with any further posts today. I do appreciate you all taking the time to comment - thanks very much!

Lovely book--so many little details to look at. This is perfect timing for me to get a look-see at your album as I'm struggling with my AIW album. Thanks for the inspiration. Hope to post the cover later today.

Totally fabulous! Great pages and such a wonderful carrying through of theme and color palette. Now, can you show me how to do that?

This is such a lovely book and somehow it kept the spirit of a children's book. I love this. I would think that any child would love it as well. Petra.

Wow, Suzanne, this is a fabulous work of art!! A perfect dream - the colors, the quotes, the images, the collage stamping - all so lovely! TFS! (And I must learn what you mean by "stripping" - do you remove the glossy coating from the pages?)
