If it is your birthday in March...

...please don't look at the cards I have uploaded, it may be yours lol! I have been struggling with a card for the Tuesday Taggers project this coming Tuesday, which I am still not happy with ... but it is now too late to start afresh as it has to be submitted tomorrow and I have to go to work tomorrow. So I best stop deliberating! The two images are two cards I produced later - which I am much happier with! Tim Holtz distressed inks and water spritzing made the background which I then cut up and then stamped. I like this effect and think I will be using it again mainly because I loved doing them. The day did not start well at all....up at the crack of dawn as normal, the card for TT playing on my mind, rushing around wanting to get it finished as I knew Neil wanted to have a drive out this morning to look at a caravan site .... "routing" in my cupboard I knocked over my very large tub of gesso - all over the dining room carpet. I was crying and swearing at the same time. Which one of my friends convinced me I needed gesso? CAROLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!

I'm not looking, ..... honest :)

What are you going to do with the carpet when the gesso's dry? Distress inks work well apparently, or you could try Stewart Gill paints :p

Fantastic collages, Suzanne!! And an offical "welcome" to Gingersnap, too (although I know you've been playing along for a while). I've been a member for a while, and I'm still finding my way around everything, LOL!! If you can't find something or have questions, just ask! Your blog and your artwork are beautiful!
