4 x 4 Friday Challenge

The day has gone so quickly. I have been messing with some backgrounds for the last couple of hours, resist embossing and cuttlebug backgrounds - some are a work in progress but I have managed to complete my entry for the 4x4 Friday challenge. The theme a boy and a bird has had some lovely entries and if you get chance pop over and take a look - see the link on the right. The background on mine has been put through the cuttlebug, inked, chalked with a personal impressions stamped owl, image from Crafty Individuals book and elusive images word stamps. I think it is rather sweet.
My intention this evening is to enjoy my takeaway, NOT watch any television and continue reading this month's book for the book club .... it is rather a long book and quite intensive so I am starting well in advance this time! Dissolution by C J Sansom and its about "real people", no ogres, wizards, strange insects and trolls so I am happy so far!

This is a great piece in many ways: the words, the different images that blend so well together. I especially like the owl.

This is VERY sweet. I love the owl you've added. There were very few owls in this week's art, so this is very unique. Thanks for sharing your art this week! :)
